Welcome

New Year Message 2026

Dear ASSP Region IX Members,

As we conclude 2025, I extend my sincere appreciation for your dedication and the meaningful progress we have achieved together. Your commitment to our five‑point regional goals has strengthened engagement, advanced professional development, and enhanced safety advocacy across all chapters.

This year, we established the Region IX ROC Committee, launched our first Region IX Technical Session for 2025/26, recognized members for Zero LTI achievements, supported Chapter Student Sessions, and chapters conducted technical visits. Despite challenges, your resilience and teamwork have continued to attract new members and elevate our impact across the Region.

As we enter 2026, we will continue building on this momentum deepening member connections, strengthening leadership engagement, and ensuring our initiatives support your professional growth and wellbeing. I remain committed to working closely with our volunteers and chapter leaders to translate our goals into meaningful, culturally grounded actions.

Thank you for your hard work, service, and dedication throughout the year. I encourage you to reflect on your achievements and enjoy the holiday season with your loved ones.

Wishing you a healthy, happy, and successful New Year. Drive safely, stay safe, and be well.
